Who is CMCA?
At the Calgary Marlborough Community Association (CMCA), we are a volunteer-run organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of our residents. We work hard to represent your interests and meet the needs of our vibrant community. From organizing recreational activities and wellness programs to creating safe spaces for our neighbours to connect, our mission is to promote a supportive and dynamic environment for everyone. But we can’t do it alone! We invite all community members to get involved and make a difference
Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The AGM is an important event where community members gather to discuss the direction of our neighborhood association, review the past year’s activities, and plan for the future.
During the AGM, we will be electing board positions, and we encourage all community members to participate. To be eligible to be nominated and to vote, community members must have a current membership with CMCA.
There are various board roles available that need your talent and enthusiasm, including:
- Lounge Director: Help manage our community lounge and create a welcoming atmosphere for all.
- Newsletter Director: Share exciting news and updates about our community events and initiatives.
- Social Media Director: Help us connect with residents online and keep everyone informed about happenings in Marlborough.
- Volunteer Coordinator: Organize and manage our fantastic volunteers who help bring our events to life.
- Casino Director: Oversee our fundraising efforts that support community programs and activities.

Event Organization
We host various events throughout the year, from family festivals to educational workshops. These events not only enrich community life but also provide fun and learning opportunities for all ages.
