Illegal Suites

Many secondary suite properties are illegal because they have not been inspected by The City of Calgary.
If a suite is not registered, you may contact the Planning Service Centre to report the address of an illegal suite.

Provincial Resources-Province of Alberta

Suspicious Properties

The Province of Alberta provides a confidential reporting service for problem properties in your neighbourhood.

Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods (SCAN) is a unit of the Alberta Sheriffs that helps keep communities safe by dealing with problem properties that are being used for specific illegal activity.

Landlord and Tenant Disputes

Under the jurisdiction of the Province of Alberta, a tenant or a landlord can apply to the Residential Tenancy Dispute Resolution Service (RTDRS) if they are unable to resolve disputes.

The Airport Community Consultative Committee (ACCC) remains the primary point of contact for air traffic noise complaints.
While flight paths are designed by NAV Canada, if you have an aircraft concern and would like a reply, YYC encourages residents to submit their concerns.
