Calgary Marlborough Community Association snow shoveling program is looking for volunteers!
The Community snow shoveling program is looking for volunteers to help seniors and persons with disabilities shovel their sidewalks and driveways. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience, enhance your resume and earn some extra money. Plus, you’ll be doing something good for your community.
Snow Shovelers must be at least 12 years old, able to shovel snow, and have parental consent. No experience is necessary. Volunteers must be willing to make a commitment to the program for the entire snow season.
Calgary Marlborough Community Association will provide training and orientation, equipment, guidance, and recognition from the community to our volunteers. Plus, all Snow Shovelers will get references and a letter of employment that you can use on your resume.
If you’re interested in helping out your community and meeting some great people, please contact us today. The first Snow Shovelers meeting and orientation will be on November 17th at the Calgary Marlborough Community Hall.
Please call the office at 403-273-5894 or 403-804-7273 or email programs director at programs@calgarymarlborough.com
