This is a great opportunity to meet and connect with your neighbours, discuss issues in and around our community and take part in electing Calgary Marlborough Community Associations board of directors. All board positions are always open at every year’s AGM.

This is also a great time to renew your CMCA membership so you can take part in elections and support another year of fun events like the Jelly Bean Dance, CMCA Stampede Breakfast, Marlborough Clean-up, Christmas Craft Market and more.

List of positions requiring volunteers below. Other positions not listed can be considered.

Membership Director  Organize annual membership drives for all areas of the community.  Process mail in membership application and mail or deliver new cards. Maintain up to date membership list on data base.  Organize table and sell memberships at community events.

Lounge Director Plan and carryout activities to draw members to the lounge.  Order and maintain liquor, pop and snack inventory. Ensure licensing is up to date.

Casino Director Complete applications for casinos.  Organize volunteers for casino shifts.  Be present at casino event.

Scholarship Director Accept applications for community based scholarship program.  Present applicants to the Board.

Seniors Director Organize events for seniors in the community.  Act as the liaison between the seniors groups/events and the community Board.

Newsletter Director Establish and online newsletter for CMCA.  Submit newsletter info to 12 CSI magazine. 

Volunteer Coordinator Create and maintain a database of volunteers for various community events.  Contact and secure attendance of volunteers as needed.

Social Media Director Maintain Community’s social media presence.  Keep website maintained and up to date

Urban Planning Director Remain aware of developments within  Marlborough  and the surrounding area that might affect Marlborough’s residents.  Keep informed on traffic concerns, communicating with the City, Board and residents where appropriate
